Waitematā DHB Māori Nurse of the Year 2021 turned personal tragedy into equity focused career

Angela’s late son, who would have turned 40 this week, passed away at nine-months-old after complications related to an ear infection that was never diagnosed, despite her repeated efforts to seek care for him.
