Community child health services are based on the North Shore, at Waitakere Hospital and in Rodney. They provide a community based service, supporting children, young people and their families in a school or home setting. They have a multidisciplinary team who work together supporting families and their children to reach their full potential.
Members of the team are:
- Public health nurses
- Ear nurse specialists
- Vision and hearing technicians
- Social workers
- Medical officers
- Health promoting schools advisors (fostering community development and healthy choices within schools).
