Second quarter Health Target figures released - 26 February

Latest figures show Waitemata District Health Board has improved its performance in two of the government’s six health target areas and excelled in another. The government has just released second quarter health target statistics for the country’s 21 district health boards. The number of people admitted, discharged or transferred from Waitemata’s emergency departments rose from 61 to 68 per cent by the end of December, and for February jumped to 75 per cent. Read more...

Enua Ola Festival

The Enua Ola festival is a celebration of Pacific communities taking part in the Healthy Eating, Healthy Action Programme. The festival will be held on Saturday 27th March and will be a fun-filled day for communities and families to celebrate healthy living with a variety of games and competitions, workshops, concerts and stalls. Oranga Kai Oranga Pumau funding round opens

Waitemata DHB invites applications for funding for community projects that aim to enhance Maori health and wellbeing.
