The North Shore Hospital Foundation is the principal fundraising body for North Shore Hospital and community health services in North Shore City and the Rodney district. It is dedicated to working with local communities, and improving hospital and community health facilities and services.
The vision
The vision of the North Shore Hospital Foundation is to enhance the hospital and community healthcare environment for patients, families and staff, and to develop a regional pride for North Shore Hospital and its achievements.
The mission
The mission of the Foundation is to inspire and involve all North Harbour communities to support their health achievements and assets.
Fundraising
The challenge for the North Shore Hospital Foundation is to raise enough funds annually to enable the foundation to provide for additional "above the line" projects not provided for by state funding. The foundation also supports staff initiatives aimed at improving working environments and conditions.
