Second quarter Health Target figures released - 26 February
Latest figures show Waitemata District Health Board has improved its performance in two of the government’s six health target areas and excelled in another. The government has just released second quarter health target statistics for the country’s 21 district health boards. The number of people admitted, discharged or transferred from Waitemata’s emergency departments rose from 61 to 68 per cent by the end of December, and for February jumped to 75 per cent. Enua Ola Festival
The Enua Ola festival is a celebration of Pacific communities taking part in the Healthy Eating, Healthy Action Programme.
